Located at 8643 Deadstream road with all the comforts and conveniences of home. Full kitchen including dishwasher and microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Make this your comfortable vacation rental while visiting the Sleeping Bear Dunes and Benzie County area. This cottage is located on the north side of Big Platte Lake about 4 miles from Lake Michigan and roughly 2 miles from the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park boundaries. Traverse City is about 35 miles, Point Betsie, Frankfort and other area interests are minutes away. Directions can be found below. Please check the availability (below) for openings. Amenities:

Washer and Dryer, Gas grill and picnic table. Lake view and lake access. Beach, dock, and fire pit are shared by the Birchwood Condo Association. Two bedrooms on main floor have queen beds and a large bedroom loft has 2 double beds, One full bath, Cable TV, VCR. About 200 ft from the lake (no crossing roads).  Please note that the amenities for this Chalet are 'different' from the amenities for the cottages at Platte Lake Resort II.

What to Bring:

Linens for beds, linens for bathroom and kitchen, toiletries, paper products for kitchen and bathroom, food, beach towels, and clothing.

Rates:

Weekly rentals only June 16 thru Labor Day. $1250/week. Weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. Looking for a partial week? Please call us - 231-325-5701. Deposits are required.

Directions:

From US 31 (going north) turn left on Indian Hill Road and go to stop sign. Turn left onto Deadstream Rd. and go about 2 miles. Look for the sign 'Birchwood Shores' and you will see the chalet just before it. Please note that anyone renting this chalet must abide by the Birchwood Shores Condo Association rules.
